The Headway theme is a user-friendly theme for WordPress websites. It allows those that do not know PHP or HTML to setup and design their WordPress website with Headway’s visual editor. The Headway Personal version allows the user to install and use it on two WordPress websites that they own or develop while the Headway Developer package allows use on an unlimited number of sites that the user owns or is developing for others. Both provide lifetime updates.
If you are new to WordPress and especially if you are not familiar with PHP or HTML, I would recommend you give Headway Themes a try. Since there is an upcoming price change and annual fee, now is a good time to think about purchasing it (see below).
Headway Theme Announcement
Just received an announcement from Headway Themes. The newest version, Headway 3.0, will be released on November 25, 2011. This means a couple of things. First, it means that with Headway 3.0, they will be introducing child themes. It appears the child themes will have to be purchased at an additional cost. Also, the price of Headway 3.0 will be going up along with an annual renewal fee.
