We were recommended by Wilson Electronics (Owners of WeBoost Brand) to this customer. The customer had no signal within their home and had to go outside or up on the second floor of the home to have a chance at successfully using their smartphone. We went to the customers location in Corydon, IN and performed a site survey to determine the cellular signal level outside and on the roof of the home. The signal level was adequate and we also determined the direction of the best cell tower/signal during the site survey.
At the time of the site survey the customer had already purchased a WeBoost 4G-X cellphone booster system so after the site survey was completed and the data analyzed the installation was scheduled.
The installation took most of the day due to the steep roof and needing to get the directional donor antenna mounted above the peak of the roof. LMR 400 coaxial cable (which reduces signal loss) was used to connect the donor antenna to the cellular amplifier as well as the inside antenna to the amplifier. The inside antenna was mounted in the attic and pushed the amplified cell signal down and out to all three levels of the home.
The home is a two story with a walk out basement. After the installation was complete the customer was able to have a good cell signal in areas of the home where they had non before.
